Built upon the Java Platform, JavaFX 1.0 provides the tools, APIs, and features necessary to create dynamic applications for the next generation of internet application innovation. This session starts with an overview of the language, particularly from a Java developers perspective. The session will then dive into the JavaFX scene graph, animation, and media APIs. It ends with a brief roadmap for the future of the JavaFX platform.
